What Is This Google +1 Button?

Google Plus OneYou may have seen it on your favorite blog post.  It might have shown up while you were shopping.  It’s the ‘+1′ button you keep seeing all over the web.  But what is it?  Welcome to Google’s +1.  Google is attempting to cash in on the success of Facebook’s “Like” button which has been showing up on just about every web site known to man.  By clicking on this link, you are letting Google know what you think about this web page and will (probably) help in the building the importance of its search worth.  Why is this important?  Because Google is using living people to value the worth of a web page after they have done a search for it.  By clicking on the +1, you are helping people you know or who are businesses you frequent with a “thumbs up” to Google.  The more you click, the more you help and the better the internet becomes…

Escaping The Puppetmaster

Escaping the PuppetmasterWhy don’t we take the responsibility in our lives? You could throw a wonderfully thick steak on the grill, a bottle of wine and have a wonderful dinner with your spouse for less than $20 or you could go out and have the same meal for $80 and complain about the service.

You could drive to work everyday and do what the boss tells you to do for $15 an hour or you could walk downstairs at 9am, and work for yourself until its time to do something else – making many more times your current salary.

Why would you mow someone else’s lawn for minimum wage if you could find your dream job and hire someone else to mow your lawn?

Can you fail at your dream?  Yes.  Will you find success if you never try? No.

You can achieve your goals if you believe in yourself and take responsibility for your future. Who’s controlling you and what are you giving up in your life to avoid falling down if you fail?
