I use WordPress for almost every site that I build. If you are unfamiliar with this program, it is acontent managementsystem (CMS) that allows the businessowner to edit and manage their own web site. When I first started using WordPress to build web sites for companies, I had some push back from some of my clients. Some said, “It’s ablogging software, I don’t want to blog.” Others thought the system was too amateur to be used on their web site. If the site didn’t cost them $5000, then it wasn’t good enough for them. How wrong they were! Not only have I worked on web sites throughout the United States, I’ve created WordPress sites for companies doing business in Ceylon, the United Arab Emirates, and Dubai! It seems that larger corporations are also following suite. Here is a list of Fortune 500 companies that use WordPress for their web sites, as well.
I am interested in finding other companies who would like to have a guest blogger write on their web site. I am a blogger and work with social media for my clients and would like to write on your blog! In the past two years, I have written over 1500 posts and now I am willing to do it for you, too! If you are interested, feel free to contact me and we can discuss the type of post you are looking for. The only thing I ask for writing the post is a link back to my blog. The articles will be unique so you don’t have to worry about repeated content hurting your search engine standings. Thanks!
There is a lot of blogging software out on the market. I’ve tried quite a few of them: Blogger, Typepad, Moveable Type and Gawker. Of all of these blogging platforms, I think that WordPress is the best of them all. WordPress.org’s software is considered by many gurus of the market to be the blog software of choice. So why WordPress.org? There are a lot of reasons. For more, click here: http://myfivebest.com/wordpress-for-the-win/
